Roofcell is a lightweight, high-compressive-strength interlocking plastic module, specially engineered for drainage and water retention beneath green roofs, planter beds and rooftop deck landscapes. As a core component of sustainable green infrastructure, it helps deliver energy-saving, eco-friendly and aesthetic urban building solutions.
Made of PP / HDPE raw material, Roofcell adopts honeycomb hollow cell structure. Individual units feature interlocking edges, allowing simple assembly to form a continuous panel layer. When installed, it is normally matched with geotextile filter fabric on top, separating planting substrate from the drainage void space. The hollow cavities serve dual functions: rapid drainage of excess rainwater and temporary water storage for plant root absorption.
