Steel-plastic geogrid is composite geogrid made by embedding high-strength steel wires inside polyethylene or polypropylene coating, forming integrated steel plastic mesh structure. Steel-plastic geogrid combines the high tensile property of steel wire and corrosion resistance of plastic coating, with ultra-high tensile strength, small creep, stable junction strength and outstanding friction interlock with soil. It is widely used for high embankment reinforcement, retaining wall, bridge abutment, port foundation, soft soil foundation improvement and heavy load yard projects. Steel plastic composite geogrid is preferred for high-load civil works to reduce foundation settlement and improve overall soil stability.
