Content: To fully leverage the association's positive role in guiding technological progress, regulating market order, and promoting innovative development within the industry, the solicitation of standards proposals for 2026 by the China Geosynthetics Engineering Association has recently commenced.

Association standard applications should aim to promote technological advancement, enhance industry competitiveness, and meet market development needs, achieving coordination, integration, and innovative development between international and national standards, and across major application areas. Application types include five categories: basic standards, product standards, process and manufacturing standards, testing and inspection standards, and application technology standards. Priority will be given to applications for standards that fill gaps, are mature and advanced, and possess promising application prospects—the "four new" technologies: new technologies, new processes, new materials, and new equipment. Simultaneously, existing enterprise standards reflecting common industry characteristics and advanced levels in new products, manufacturing, testing, technology, and management are encouraged to be converted into association standards. Applied standards must not overlap with existing national, industry, local, or group standards, and their technical requirements must be no lower than the relevant technical requirements of existing national and industry standards.
