Content: On January 21, 2026, the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Industrial Textiles (TC606) convened a review meeting for six national and industry standards, including "Geosynthetics - Determination of Compression Properties - Part 1: Compression Creep Properties". Leaders including Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council and Chairman of TC606; Ma Yongmei, General Manager of China Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of TC606; and Li Guimei, President of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association and Vice Chairman of TC606, as well as members of the Standardization Technical Committee and representatives of the drafting units attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and approved the following six national and industry standards:

"Geosynthetics - Determination of compressive properties - Part 1: Compression creep properties"

"Fiber ropes - Test method for tensile fatigue properties"

"Nonwoven hot melt adhesive mesh for automotive interior composites"

"Pleated filter cartridges and their filter media for bag filters"

"Denitrification and dioxin removal catalytic function dust removal filter media and filter bags"

"Interception nets for nuclear power cold source systems"

The meeting also conveyed the good news that the National Standardization Management Committee approved the establishment of the Nonwoven Materials Subcommittee (TC606/SC1) and the Textile Materials Subcommittee for Filtration and Separation (TC606/SC2) on January 6, 2026. Li Lingshen emphasized that 2026 is a crucial period for planning and laying the groundwork for the 15th Five-Year Plan. Standardization work should closely revolve around the core requirements of the 15th Five-Year Plan, focusing on four key aspects: deepening the coordination of the standards committee organizational structure, focusing on standardization work in key areas, improving the international standards cooperation mechanism, and activating the group standards system.
