Fiberglass Geogrid

A fiberglass geo grid is a planar network structure made from high quality alkali-free glass fibre yarns. It is manufactured by advanced warp knitting techniques and coated with modified asphalt or polymer materials. Not like traditional reinforcing materials such as steel or pp (polypropylene) geo grids, fiberglass geo grids combine the innate strength of glass fibers with a stability in chemicals that only advanced coatings can offer – ensuring they last longer as well. Because of its unique structure, stress can be effectively transmitted at times, while preventing it in other spots. Intermeshing of the aggregate and a crack are avoided under extrusion thus making it an ideal material for road construction works to be used on the soil reinforcement layer. Also it has the potential markets in rail line projects, some water power engineering structures and coastal soft grounds.

Intended to solve the common infrastructure problems – from reflective cracking in asphalt pavements to subgrade settlement with poor soil conditions – fiberglass geogrid offers an aesthetic and environmentally friendly solution that lowers maintenance costs and extends the life of building projects. Whether it is used on new construction or old road rehabilitations, this versatile material will deliver steady performance across various environmental conditions, from temperatures to extremes.

Product Specifications:

Tensile Strength: 30-300Kn (customizable according to customer needs)
Size: Width 1-6m/Length (customizable according to customer needs)
Packaging: normal neutral packaging (customizable according to customer needs)

Features:

1. Exceptional strength: Fiberglass geogrids exhibit high tensile strength and rigidity, significantly enhancing the load-bearing capacity of soil.
2. Reduced weight: In comparison to conventional geotechnical reinforcement materials, fiberglass geogrids are lighter, facilitating easier transportation and installation.
3. Chemical resilience: The glass fiber geogrid undergoes specialized chemical treatment, enabling it to endure various environmental conditions and providing excellent corrosion resistance.
4. Remarkable durability: Glass fiber geogrids possess an extended service life, are minimally impacted by external environmental factors, and can retain their functional properties over an extended period.

Application:

1. Subgrade reinforcement: Fiberglass geogrids are applicable in roadbed construction for highways and railways, enhancing the stability and load-bearing capacity of the subgrade soil while preventing deformation and settlement.

2. Wall reinforcement: Glass fiber geogrids are utilized in wall reinforcement initiatives to improve the tensile strength of the wall and bolster its overall stability.

3. Slope protection: Fiberglass geogrids are employed in slope protection efforts to ensure slope stability and resistance to slipping, thereby mitigating soil erosion and the risk of slope failure.

4. Soil and Water Conservation: Fiberglass geogrids play a crucial role in soil and water conservation projects by inhibiting water flow and soil erosion, thus promoting soil stability.

Product Qualification:

1.Product quality certification: Passed ISO9001 quality management system certification, CE certification, etc.

2.Product test report: Provide product test reports issued by authoritative organizations.

FAQ

Q

Q: What happens if the product is damaged during transportation?

A

A: We take the following measures to reduce risk: Export-grade packaging + pallet securing; Taking photos to confirm packaging condition before shipment; Arranging third-party pre-shipment inspection (SGS, etc.).

Q

Q: What trade terms and payment methods do you accept?

A

A: Trade Terms: FOB (major ports such as Qingdao/Shanghai/Tianjin), CIF, and CFR are all acceptable. Payment Method: T/T wire transfer (usually 30% deposit + 70% balance upon receipt of copy of bill of lading), details negotiable.

Q

Q: Can you provide samples?

A

A: Yes. We provide free samples (small size), with shipping costs borne by the buyer. For pre-production samples before large-volume orders, a sample fee is required, which will be refunded upon placing a formal order. Samples usually come with corresponding test reports for customer verification.

Q

Q: What are the production cycle and delivery time?

A

A: Standard products are typically produced and shipped within 10-20 business days after order confirmation. This depends on: product type and quantity; whether customized specifications are required; and we recommend informing us of your target delivery date in advance so that we can arrange production and booking accordingly.

Q

Q: How should the product be packaged? Is it suitable for sea freight?

A

A: All products use export-grade packaging: Geotextile/Geomembrane: Roll packaging, with an outer PE film or woven fabric protective layer, suitable for container loading. Geocells: Can be folded into rolls to save on shipping costs. Drainage Boards: Flat or roll packaging, depending on order quantity. Packaging design fully considers the requirements for moisture and abrasion protection during sea transport. Palletized packaging and customized shipping marks are available.

Q

Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A

A: The MOQ varies depending on the product: Geotextile/Geomembrane: There is no strict MOQ for standard specifications, but ordering in rolls is recommended to optimize costs. Geocell: Usually priced per area, small batch orders are acceptable.
